[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] CJ OliveNetworks, a payment gateway (PG) service provider, was found to have failed to issue some cash receipts for more than two months last year.

According to the company, CJ OliveNetworks was unable to issue cash receipts for certain transactions made at coffee shop merchants between October 19 and December 31, 2024.

The incident occurred after cash receipt data for payments made using Kakao Pay Money were not properly registered due to an error in the PG payment system.

CJ OliveNetworks explained that “only 일부 users were affected,” but did not disclose the exact number of customers impacted.

The company notified users whose cash receipts were not issued via text messages and announced that corrective measures have since been completed to ensure normal issuance of cash receipts going forward.

CJ OliveNetworks added that the issue has now been fully resolved.
