[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] SEOUL, Sept. 17 — Hyundai Motor Group announced on Tuesday that it had resolved a major service disruption affecting its vehicle control applications, including MyHyundai, Kia, and MyGenesis, after approximately 10 hours of downtime.

According to industry sources, users were unable to access the apps beginning at around 6 a.m. The group confirmed that the issue had been fully resolved by 4:25 p.m.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this system problem,” Hyundai Motor said in a statement.

The outage, believed to have been caused by a network failure, left many car owners unable to use key app features such as digital keys for locking and unlocking doors, remote engine start, and real-time vehicle status monitoring. Drivers reported significant inconvenience as a result of the disruption.
