[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Naver’s AI voice transcription service Clova Note experienced a disruption on March 10, leaving many users unable to convert audio files into text.

According to the IT industry, uploaded audio files are either not being transcribed or are experiencing significant delays. Under normal conditions, even audio recordings longer than an hour are typically converted into text within seconds.

However, users reported that even short audio files remained stuck on a “Converting… 0%” screen for extended periods, sometimes taking more than 30 minutes to process or failing entirely and requiring repeated attempts.

As a result, numerous complaints and reports of inconvenience have been filed with Clova Note’s customer service center.

Naver said the disruption was caused by a temporary internal system error and that system recovery has been completed, but the company is still investigating the exact cause. It added that the issue was not related to external hacking.
