KakaoBank Service Restored After Temporary Outage

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] KakaoBank services have been restored after a temporary outage that left users unable to access the platform.

According to industry sources on March 17, the disruption began at around 3:30 p.m. and lasted for approximately 30 minutes before services returned to normal.

At one point during the outage, the KakaoBank app displayed a waiting queue of up to 100,000 users, with estimated wait times of around 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, KakaoBank has also announced a scheduled system maintenance, during which all services will be temporarily suspended from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on March 22.
