[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Coinone has filed a lawsuit challenging a partial business suspension imposed by financial authorities, joining Upbit and Bithumb in legal action.

According to the crypto industry on the 28th, Coinone recently filed a suit with the Seoul Administrative Court seeking to overturn the suspension order. The exchange also applied for an injunction to halt enforcement, which has been granted, temporarily suspending the effect of the sanction.

The partial suspension restricts only new customers from depositing or withdrawing external virtual assets, while existing services—such as trading, asset exchange, and fiat deposits and withdrawals—remain unaffected.

Earlier, on the 13th, the Financial Intelligence Unit under the Financial Services Commission imposed a three-month partial suspension and fines on Coinone for violations of anti-money laundering (AML) obligations.
