[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Kyochon Chicken, operated by Kyochon F&B, has reportedly reduced the portion size of its boneless chicken menu items by nearly 30%.

According to franchise industry sources, the pre-cooked weight of Kyochon’s boneless chicken has been cut from 700 grams to 500 grams. In addition, the company has altered its raw material composition, replacing what was previously 100% chicken thigh meat with a partial mix of chicken tenderloin.

Although prices remain the same, critics argue that the company is effectively raising prices by either reducing portion sizes or substituting raw materials as part of cost-cutting measures.
