[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Ecopro said on the 24th that it hacked into the personal information of former Chairman Lee Dong-chae to recognize that someone tried to sell shares and withdraw the proceeds from the sale.

Ecopro was recently informed by former chairman Lee's trading securities firm that 2,995 shares of former chairman Lee's Ecopro were sold.

However, former chairman Lee has not arbitrarily sold his shares and has suspended all his accounts to prevent further damage, Ecopro said.

On the same day, Ecopro announced that a total of 2,995 common shares held by former chairman Lee, the largest shareholder, were sold in the market on the 16th, 17th and 19th. The total amount is 2.49878 billion won.
