BTS debuted in 2013 at Big Hit Entertainment, the predecessor of HYBE. Since then, BTS has caused a global craze. It has also topped the world's leading charts such as the U.S. Billboard, the U.K. Official Chart, Japan's Oricon, iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music. He has also set records for performing at all three major U.S. music awards, including the Grammy Awards, the American Music Awards and the Billboard Music Awards.
Since last year, it has entered the second act (chapter 2), which combines group activities and personal activities. Big Hit Music will sign contracts individually and sequentially considering the military service performance of some members. Members currently serving in the military will have completed their mandatory military service in 2025, when the new exclusive contract period begins.
