Alpha Biz=Kim Jisun (Las Vegas) Doosan Group Chairman Park Jung-won emphasized the company’s commitment to leading the energy market in the AI era during a visit to CES 2026 on Jan. 7 (local time).
Park, accompanied by key executives including Vice Chairman Park Ji-won, Doosan Enerbility Vice Chairman Jung Yeon-in, and Doosan Bobcat Vice Chairman Scott Park, toured the Doosan booth at the Las Vegas West Hall for approximately 25 minutes. He stated, “With the AI era driving a significant increase in electricity demand, particularly around data centers, Doosan is well-positioned with energy solutions that meet customer needs, allowing us to lead the market with tailored strategies.”
Under the theme “Powered by Doosan,” the group showcased a 380-megawatt gas turbine and small modular reactor (SMR) models from Doosan Enerbility, as well as hydrogen fuel cell prototypes. Doosan also introduced “Physical AI” technology, integrating AI with hardware for real-world applications.
Doosan Bobcat presented voice-based AI technologies such as “Jobsite Companion” to assist field workers and “Bobcat Service AI” to enhance maintenance efficiency, while Doosan Robotics demonstrated “Scan & Go,” an AI and 3D vision-powered system enabling tasks without coding.
Park also participated in final interviews for Doosan’s first global public recruitment, targeting research and development (R&D) positions in AI, gas turbines, nuclear, and robotics. He highlighted the importance of securing talented and passionate professionals to support Doosan’s ongoing growth and innovation.
