[Alpha Biz= Ellie Kim] SEOUL, June 5 — NH Investment & Securities is facing growing uncertainty as it has yet to name a new chief executive more than three months after the previous CEO’s term expired.

Industry sources say the company has begun selecting multiple candidates under a planned co-CEO structure, but delays in finalizing nominees have raised concerns among investors and clients.

The leadership vacuum comes amid criticism over a lack of transparency in the selection process, particularly given the company’s ownership structure under NH Financial Group and the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.

Observers warn that prolonged uncertainty could weaken competitiveness, as strategic decision-making and organizational restructuring remain on hold during the transition.

NH Investment & Securities aims to finalize the appointment within June, but delays may push the timeline further, potentially impacting its business performance for the year.
