[Alpha Biz= Ellie Kim] Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, is expected to visit South Korea next week, marking his first trip to the country in about seven months following his attendance at the APEC CEO Summit in Gyeongju last October.

According to industry sources on May 28, Huang will travel to Korea after completing key engagements at “GTC Taipei 2026,” NVIDIA’s annual AI conference scheduled for June 1–4 in Taipei. He is set to deliver a keynote speech on the opening day, outlining the company’s next-generation AI semiconductor technologies and infrastructure strategy.

During his visit, Huang is expected to hold meetings with major Korean semiconductor companies, including Samsung Electronics and

Hynix, with discussions likely to focus on high-bandwidth memory (HBM), next-generation AI accelerators, and foundry collaboration.

He is also reportedly scheduled to meet Koo Kwang-mo to explore expanded cooperation in physical AI. Potential collaboration areas may include affiliates such as LG Electronics, LG Innotek, and LG Uplus, spanning AI research, semiconductor components, robotics sensing, and cloud infrastructure.

In addition, discussions with major Korean IT companies such as Naver are expected, focusing on broader AI collaboration across cloud and emerging technologies.
