[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Lotte Mart and Lotte Super have announced a new voluntary retirement program, marking the third such move since 2021.

According to an internal notice posted on the 29th, eligible employees must be at least 48 years old with a minimum of eight years of service at the same job level. Those who apply will receive severance packages of up to 36 months of base salary, depending on tenure and position.

Additional support includes reemployment assistance payments, career transition services, and education subsidies of up to KRW 10 million per child for a maximum of three children currently enrolled in university.

At the same time, the company plans to hire more than 100 new and experienced employees this year to revitalize its workforce and establish a more dynamic personnel structure. The move reflects a broader strategy to adapt to the growing shift toward online retail while strengthening the competitiveness of its offline operations.
