[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Hybe will acquire Supertone, an artificial intelligence audio company, and materialize mid- to long-term growth strategies.
Hybe announced on the 31st that it has invested 45 billion won in Supertone, an artificial intelligence audio company.
With this investment, the Hybe stake in Supertone exceeded the majority with 56.1%.
Previously, Hybe invested 4 billion won in Supertone in 2021 to secure an 18.2% stake.
Hybe explained that it pushed for the acquisition of Supertone as part of its mid- to long-term growth strategy of convergence of music industry and technology.
