[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] WASHINGTON D.C., October 28, 2025 — Jensen Huang, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA), has hinted that an announcement that will “make the people of South Korea very happy” is imminent, raising anticipation of a major partnership or technology collaboration with leading Korean companies.

Speaking at the GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2025, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Huang was asked about potential cooperation with Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, Hyundai Motor Group, and LG. He responded, “When I look at Korea’s high-tech ecosystem, every company there is a deep friend and a very good partner of ours. Hopefully, when I visit Korea, we can share something that will truly delight the Korean people.”

Huang added that the announcement would be made “in just a few days,” further fueling speculation of new strategic alliances between NVIDIA and Korea’s largest conglomerates.

When pressed on whether NVIDIA plans to supply semiconductors to Samsung or Hyundai, Huang replied, “We are collaborating with Samsung and Hyundai in various ways. Both companies are preparing to invest in AI factories.” His comments align with NVIDIA’s global push to expand its AI infrastructure partnerships with semiconductor, mobility, and electronics manufacturers worldwide.

Huang also praised South Korea’s technology culture, noting its pioneering role in digital innovation. “Korea introduced video games, PC rooms, internet cafés, and e-sports to the world — all of which were born there. I’m incredibly excited about what’s next,” he said.

Huang is scheduled to visit Seoul later this week to attend the APEC CEO Summit, where he is expected to meet with Korea’s top business leaders. According to industry sources, Huang will hold meetings with Samsung Electronics Executive Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chairman Chung Eui-sun on October 30, followed by a session with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won on October 31.
