[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Seoul, South Korea – September 18, 2025 – Paris Croissant Co., Ltd. announced today that it has halted sales and initiated a voluntary recall of its “Dried Persimmon Pound Cake” produced at its Daegu factory after discovering an omission in allergen labeling.

The product contains pine nuts, which are classified as a major allergenic ingredient under regulations of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). While pine nuts were listed in the ingredient section, they were mistakenly omitted from the designated allergen warning field required by MFDS.

The company emphasized that this issue does not affect the safety or quality of the product’s raw materials. However, in line with MFDS guidance, Paris Croissant is offering full refunds to customers for all affected products starting September 18 through its customer service center (080-731-2027).

The company also confirmed that allergen warnings will be immediately corrected on the product packaging to prevent future incidents.
