[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Land, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Won Hee-ryong will visit Poland to launch a full-fledged post-war reconstruction project in Ukraine, estimated at 1,200 trillion won.

This is a follow-up to discussions on humanitarian and economic aid to Ukraine at the Korea-U.S. summit last month.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport reported on the 21st that Minister Won will visit Warsaw, Poland, on the 21st ∼ 23rd to meet with ministers and vice ministers from Poland and Ukraine and discuss ways to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine.

In particular, the government will seek ways to build cooperative relations with Ukraine's infrastructure through a business agreement (MOU).

Introducing South Korea's reconstruction experience, Won will express his intention to provide Ukraine with a "K-development platform" that contains Korea's own know-how, including smart cities, high-tech industrial complexes and IT-based transportation networks.
