[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo has presided over a series of "first-half strategic reports" to discuss mid- to long-term future strategies with executives of each affiliate.

According to the business community on the 21st, Chairman Koo has been presiding over a strategic briefing session when he returns to LG Group affiliates since the 8th of this month.

LG Group is holding a 'business report' to check management performance and business strategy twice in the first half and second half of each year for all affiliates. This year, the group has started an overall inspection earlier than usual as negative market factors such as global demand decline, interest rate hikes and exchange rate uncertainties continue

The strategy report will be conducted in the form of CEOs of major affiliates such as LG Electronics, LG Display and LG Innotek reporting directly to Koo. It is known that mid- to long-term future business strategies are the main theme. It is also expected that LG Display, LG Innotek, and LG Chem will order countermeasures against affiliates that are not in good condition recently.

The business briefing session for the second half of the year, which was held every year in October ∼ November, will be held as usual.
