[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] On the 12th, CJ CheilJedang announced that it has launched new products, including Bibigo frozen Gimbap, at Woolworths, Australia's largest supermarket chain.

This marks the first time Korean-style Gimbap is being sold in Australian liquor distribution channels.

The introduced products include Bibigo tuna mayo Gimbap and bulgogi Gimbap, which were first launched in Japan and have now been introduced in Australia, capitalizing on their popularity in Japan.

In particular, the bulgogi Gimbap uses plant-based ingredients instead of meat, catering to the trends of Australian consumers.

These products will be available at over 1,000 Woolworths stores across Australia.

CJ CheilJedang plans to accelerate its business expansion in Australia by leveraging its Bibigo K-Food strategy, focusing on Gimbap and other strategic products.

The company is concentrating on expanding into local liquor distribution channels and securing local production facilities.
