Naver will first unveil its robot-only operating system (OS) "AcMind" at its "LEAP 2024" keynote called "the Saudi CES" in the afternoon. The Big Tech Hall, the main exhibition hall, has been set up by global big tech companies such as Google, Apple, Meta, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (MS) and IBM.
Paik said, "When I visited Saudi Arabia for the first time as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and One Team Korea in 2022, I was confident that I could establish a relationship with key figures and provide Neom City with cutting-edge technology applied to Naver 1784."
Neom City is a low-carbon smart city construction project that Saudi Arabia is pushing for in the middle of the northwest desert. The size is about 26,500 square kilometers, about 44 times the size of Seoul.
Naver's new ARC mind in Saudi Arabia is the world's first web platform-based robot-only OS. The plan is to participate in the Saudi Neom City project through Arc Mind.
