[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SEOUL, May 27 — Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, is expected to meet key South Korean technology leaders during the upcoming GTC Taipei event, according to an exclusive report by Herald Business.
Industry sources said Huang will host a “Korea Partner Night” in Taipei, bringing together executives including Chey Tae-won, Jun Young-hyun, and senior leaders from Hyundai Motor Group, Naver Cloud, LG, Doosan, and robotics startups.
The meeting reflects expanding cooperation between NVIDIA and Korean companies in AI semiconductors, autonomous driving, robotics, and physical AI platforms. Samsung Electronics and SK hynix have recently strengthened ties with NVIDIA through advanced memory supply partnerships, while Hyundai Motor Group and Naver are deepening collaboration in autonomous mobility and industrial AI.
Industry observers expect the gathering to further solidify strategic alliances as competition intensifies in the global AI ecosystem.
