The US Patent and Trademark Office has allowed Apple to apply for a patent for a foldable display. The patent is an electronic device technology that minimizes bending along the folding axis with a flexible display embedded in the main body. Apple believes that the inner surface of the cover filled with polymer materials will be smooth and that the rough texture of the filler surface will be effective in reducing light reflection. Polymers are made of flexible materials such as silicon and acrylic, which is expected to significantly reduce light reflection.
