[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] NH Investment & Securities raised its target price for DB Damage Insurance (005830) on the 23rd, saying its performance and capital ratio are both stable. The investment opinion was 'buy' and the target price was 'up' 9.17% from 109,000 won to 119,000 won. The closing price of the previous trading day was 93,600 won.

"DB Insurance showed the best performance among the three non-life insurance companies in the fourth quarter of last year despite high general insurance accidents," NH Investment & Securities said. "We have reduced the discount rate from 50% to 45% to reflect the possibility of expanding shareholder returns in the future."

DB Insurance's net profit in the fourth quarter of last year was 261 billion won (insurance profit and loss of 242.2 billion won, investment profit and loss of 92.5 billion won), slightly exceeding the market consensus.

NH Investment & Securities said, "DB damage insurance showed a stable upward trend in insurance gains and losses, investment gains and losses, and DPSs compared to its competitors last year when there were many issues."
