[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Some of the payments of 10,000 users who registered their mobile transportation cards in Lotte Card's simple payment service "Loca Pay" were omitted from the year-end settlement simplification service.

According to Lotte Card on the 26th, some amount of the customer's mobile post-paid transportation card was not included in the '2023 year-end settlement simplification data' due to the person in charge's mistake in the process of registering the mobile post-paid transportation card registered in the existing app when updating the existing 'Lotte App Card' to new Loca Pay in February last year. The total number of subjects is about ten thousand.

According to the official, 95% of Lotte Card's deferred transportation card users are real card users, and 3 to 4% use transportation cards with Samsung Pay, and they were not affected by the year-end settlement simplification service.

Currently, Lotte Card guides customers who are omitted from the year-end settlement simplification service individually by text from the afternoon to the 26th so that they can be revised and reflected in the year-end settlement.
