[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] LS Cable & System announced on August 8 that it recently signed an exclusive contract with Sweden's UHT on the purchase of machines (granshot) and the introduction of processes. Over the next three years, four to five machines will be introduced and applied to the production process in earnest.
UHT is a Swedish-based metal equipment and solution developer. It has a technique of transforming liquid-type metal into solid and granulating it.
LS Cable and UHT will collaborate on the process of converting liquid copper from scrap (metal crumbs) refining into solid grains through granshots.
LS Cable plans to speed up the development of new materials by introducing cutting-edge equipment.
