The Road Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recalled 2.03 million Tesla vehicles for the same reason, and South Korea also took action based on this.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport also decided to voluntarily recall 1992 vehicles, saying they were found to be unlocked in the event of a crash due to software errors in models X and S sold between April and October this year.
