Worker falls to death at Youngpoong Paper Pyeongtaek factory

According to the Pyeongtaek Police Station on the 26th, a report was received that a worker in his 60s fell from the machine at a Youngpoong paper plant in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, at around 3:52 a.m. on the 24th.

A is known to have climbed the machine used in the scrap paper dissolution process at the time and fell below 2m while connecting the pipes of the machine. A was taken to a nearby hospital with a cardiac arrest and died on the same day.

He was found to have belonged to a partner company of Youngpoong Paper and worked at the workplace.

There are at least 50 full-time workers in the workplace and are subject to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act Act.
