[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] On the morning of the 27th, a computer glitch occurred in Samsung Securities' mobile trading service (MTS) 'mPOP' and home trading service (HTS), about a month after the system failure in late April. Although there were no issues with access, users were unable to check their account balances or make stock transactions.

Samsung Securities announced through a 'system emergency notice' that "the service was not functioning normally due to a system error. It has now been restored to normal." However, some customers are still experiencing inconvenience, suggesting that the service remains unstable.

On Naver's 'Samsung Securities' discussion board, posts from investors expressing dissatisfaction surged, totaling around 150.

Earlier in late April, Samsung Securities experienced a problem where evaluation profit and loss trends were not displayed for four hours. At that time, accessing the evaluation profit and loss trend menu in Samsung Securities' MTS only showed an alert saying, "Performance evaluation history creation is being delayed."

A Samsung Securities official stated, "We will proceed with compensation corresponding to the inconvenience experienced by customers who submit compensation claims through the website and call center."
