[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The government will check the impact of Chinese online shopping malls such as Ali and Temu on the domestic distribution industry, along with major e-commerce companies such as Coupang, 11th Street and Gmarket.

According to the distribution industry on the 14th, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy will hold a meeting presided over by the mid-sized business policy officer at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul on the 14th. Domestic e-commerce officials such as the Korea Distribution Association, Coupang, 11th Street, Gmarket, and SSG.com will participate.

Recently, the government has been holding a series of meetings on the penetration of overseas e-commerce such as China into Korea.

Attention is focusing on whether the government's discussions will develop into a measure to curb unfair practices in Chinese e-commerce in the future.
