[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Eco Materials and Hanjin Kal will be newly incorporated into the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) Korea Index.

As a result of the regular index adjustment in February, MSCI announced on the 13th that these new stocks will be incorporated into the Korean index, and five stocks including F & F, Hotel Shilla, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, JYP Entertainment and Pearl Abyss will be released.

The MSCI index is a global stock index released by Morgan Stanley of the U.S. Investment Bank (IB) and conducts four regular changes every year, including February, May, August and November.

The rebalancing following the regular change is scheduled to take place after the closing of the market on the 28th. It is expected that index-following passive funds will be moved according to inclusion and distribution.
