Hankook Tire supplies tires to Toyota's commercial vehicle 'Hino'

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Hankook Tire & Technology is expected to strengthen its partnership with Toyota by supplying tires for new cars to HINO, a commercial vehicle company of Toyota Group.

Hankook Tire said on the 14th that it will supply the mid- to long-range tires 'AH37' and the long-range tires 'DL11' to Hino's mid-sized truck 'L Series'. It is a new car tire (OET, Original Equipment Tire) installed at the time of manufacture.

Hino's 'L series' is a popular model in the US and Canadian mid-sized truck markets. The products supplied by Hankook Tire to the L series are tires for trucks and buses, which are economical.

The supply of new tires in the L series adds meaning in that it is targeting the North American commercial vehicle market. Hankook Tire plans to strengthen its R & D capabilities targeting commercial vehicle customers in North America and launch products with various advanced technologies.

A Hankook Tire official said, "The supply of tires for commercial vehicles will further strengthen our business relationship with Toyota."
