[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Employees of LG Energy Solutions even staged truck protests over complaints about performance-based bonuses that were cut in half compared to last year.

LG Energy Solutions President Kim Dong-myung and other major executives have announced plans to come up with understandable standards for performance-based bonuses, but employees' complaints have not subsided easily.

According to the industry on the 6th, about 1,700 employees of LG Energy Solutions will hold a one-person demonstration using 3.5-ton trucks and speakers in Yeouido, Seoul, from this day to the 29th through anonymous fundraising.

During this period, trucks travel around Yeouido from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day around Park One, where LG Energy Solutions' headquarters are located.

LG Energy Solutions set this year's performance-based pay at 340-380% of the basic salary and an average of 362% of the total. Last year, it was 870% of the basic salary and paid up to 900% depending on performance.

In the wake of controversy over performance-based bonuses among employees, LG Energy Solutions President Kim Dong-myung expressed his intention to come up with a plan to improve performance-based bonuses at a town hall meeting for employees on the 2nd.
