[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Roh So-young (63), director of Art Center Nabi, who is in a divorce suit with SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won (64), finally outlined his position based on a year-long trial process.

Roh's requirements for Choi in the first trial were 300 million won in property division and alimony, including 50% (6.49 million shares) of Choi's SK shares. However, the first trial excluded SK shares, judging them as "unique property" that could not be considered to have actually contributed to the formation, maintenance, and increase in value. In response, it was ruled that the division of property should recognize only 66.5 billion won in cash, including real estate and deposits, and pay 100 million won in compensation.

In the second trial, it is expected to increase the amount of property division from KRW 1 trillion to KRW 2 trillion, change the form of property requiring the split from stocks held by Chairman Choi to cash, and increase the demand for alimony from KRW 300 million to KRW 3 billion.

As a result, it became a lawsuit worth 4.7 billion won.

Chairman Choi also responded by appointing additional representatives. Choi, who appointed seven lawyers, appointed two new lawyers from Kim & Chang's law firm, including Roh Jae-ho, who was in charge of the alimony suit against Chairman Kim Hee-young the previous day.

The first formal trial of the two appeals court is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. on the 11th.
