[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The Korea Exchange said it will suspend trading of WiderPlanet stocks on the 14th.

After the close of the market on November 11, the exchange said it would designate WiderPlanet as an investment warning item.

The market monitoring regulations stipulate that trading will be suspended for one day if stock prices soar more than 2 days and more than 40% after the designation of investment warning stocks.

WiderPlanet closed at 10,590 won today, hitting the upper limit of 29.94%. This is a 68% increase from the closing price of 6,270 won on the 11th.

Wider Planet has closed at the upper limit for four consecutive trading days since the 8th after news broke that actors Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung participated in the paid-in capital increase.
