[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Lee Se-hoon, secretary general of the Financial Services Commission, has been named senior vice president of the Financial Supervisory Service.

According to the financial authorities on the 15th, Lee is expected to start working as a senior vice president at the end of this month after a future selection process.

The senior vice president of the Financial Supervisory Service will be appointed by the Financial Services Commission at the recommendation of the Financial Supervisory Service chief.

Born in 1970, Lee graduated from Yeongdong High School and Seoul National University with a law degree, received a master's degree in law from Indiana University in the U.S. and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut in the U.S.

From the 36th administrative examination, he served as the director of the Financial Services Commission's Industrial Finance Division, the Director of Financial Policy Division, the Director of Structural Improvement Policy Division, and the Director of Financial Policy Bureau.
