[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] The National Samsung Electronics Union, the largest labor union at Samsung Electronics, has been on strike for the third consecutive week.

The union announced that, following preliminary discussions with the company, intensive negotiations will take place from 7 PM today until the 31st.

Previously, on the 23rd, an 8-hour negotiation failed to bridge the gap between the two sides. However, with the company agreeing to the union's proposal for focused negotiations, both parties will return to the bargaining table.

Given the ongoing strike and the emphasis from both sides on the need to reach an agreement, attention is now on whether a dramatic resolution will be achieved.
