[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Choi Yoon-jung (34, photo), the eldest daughter of SK Group, was promoted to head of SK Biopharm's strategic investment team in a year. It has been 7 years since joining the company and is the youngest executive in the group.

SK Group carried out the reorganization of executives and executives in 2024 on the 7th.

Choi majored in biology at the University of Chicago in the U.S., worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, and joined SK Biopharm's management strategy team as a senior manager in 2017.

She later returned to work at Stanford University for a master's degree in bioinformation science and was promoted to head of the strategic investment team in January, and became the head of the headquarters again in a year.

With the promotion, Choi became the first of the three children of Chairman Choi Tae-won to become an executive, becoming the youngest executive in SK Group.

Currently, Choi's second daughter, Min-jung, is on a leave of absence after moving to a U.S. corporation after joining SK Hynix in 2019, and her eldest son, In-geun, is working as a manager at Passkey, SK E & S North American corporation.
