[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] HYBE said on the 21st that it fired its dance trainer and filed a criminal complaint against him for stealing money from outside by stealing the company's name.

"As soon as we recognized the irregularities of our members (Big Hit's dance trainer) and the damage caused to the company, we conducted an objective investigation with the advice of an outside law firm and fired them through job exclusion and personnel committee procedures," HYBE said.

"We are currently taking legal steps after receiving criminal charges for the damage the company has received," he said. "We will hold them strictly accountable to the end with the principle of zero tolerance."

Dance trainer A is known as a choreography teacher of the group BTS and was dismissed from HYBE in September on charges of fraud and embezzlement.

He is not only accused of embezzling tens of millions of won in HYBE public funds, but also of extorting billions of won from composers, choreographers and businessmen and not returning it.

In the process, he is also accused of forging private documents, such as stealing the name of HYBE. He was found to have received money and did not return it in the name of investing in goods (MD) or using songs. The amount that A extorted from the victim is estimated to be more than 5 billion won.

"The company strictly prohibits members from taking private benefits by using internal information, duties and positions of the company, as well as illegal and unfair practices," the HYBE stressed. It is said that there is also a separate reporting center for this.

In order to prevent fraud, such as relations with the company or friendship with artists, we continue to announce the warning of fraud to the outside world, and we will manage it more thoroughly by consolidating the system for vocational ethics education, anti-corruption and fair trade for all members, and strengthening the internal control system to prevent this from happening again, HYBE added."
