[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Seah Steel Holdings announced on the 21st that it has signed a five-year contract with ADNOC, the largest state-run oil company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to supply 200,000 tons of API pipelines and CLAD steel pipes.

API steel pipes are used to transport crude oil and natural gas containing hydrogen sulfide. Clad steel pipes are steel pipes that combine different metals to combine only the strengths of each metal.

API steel pipes will be supplied by UAE producer UAE, while Clark steel pipes will be supplied sequentially by InNoxtek, an Italian special pipe producer, to the Tsunami & Garsha gas field from the first half of next year.
