[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] SK Square announced on the 12th that it will sell its 28.4% stake in Nanoentech, a medical device company, to Aplus Life, a subsidiary of Aplus Asset Advisor (GA).

The sale price is about 51.5 billion won, and the closing date of the transaction is September 12.

Initially, SK Square tried to sell its stake in Nanoentech to local private equity fund J & W Partners, but reportedly changed the main body of the acquisition due to delayed payment of the sale.

SK Square announced the termination of the contract to J&W Partners on the same day.

In the investment banking (IB) industry, the sale amount decreased by about KRW 6.5 billion, but it was evaluated that its business competitiveness was recognized despite the decline in Nanoentech stock prices.

Nanoentech is a KOSDAQ-listed company that manufactures medical in vitro diagnostic devices and life science experimental devices, with consolidated sales of 35.2 billion won and net profit of 4.7 billion won last year.
