LGU+ has invested 10 billion in AI startup '42Maru'

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] LG Uplus has invested 10 billion won in AI startup '42Maru' to strengthen AI competitiveness.

According to the telecommunications industry on March 3, LG Uplus invested in 42Maru at the end of last year. The investment is known to be about 10 billion won.

42Maru is an artificial intelligence startup that develops an enterprise lightweight language model (sLLM). We recently made a strategic partnership with Hangul and Computer.

The two companies are also participating in the "Super-Large AI Promotion Council," led by the Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA) and co-chaired by Naver Cloud and LG AI researchers.
