[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] CJ CheilJedang has transferred the CJ AI (Artificial Intelligence) Center to CJ Olive Networks.

According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 14th, CJ CheilJedang transferred its AI center to CJ Olive Networks, a subsidiary of CJ's IT service. The transfer value was 9.789 billion won, and the agenda for the transfer of assets was approved at the board meeting on the 11th.

The CJ AI Center was launched in April last year and was established in 2021 based on the mid-term vision of digital transformation presented by CJ Chairman Lee Jae-hyun.

Through the transfer of the AI center, CJ CheilJedang will reduce fixed assets and receive transfer payments in cash.
