LG Display announced on the 23rd that it has appointed Jeong Cheol-dong, president of LG Innotek, as the new CEO. Over the past 40 years, Chung has served as an affiliate of LG's parts and materials division, including LG Display, LG Chem and LG Innotek. In particular, he has excellent expertise and management skills in the B2B business and IT field.
After joining LG Semiconductor in 1984, he served as managing director of LG Display's production technology, head of the production technology center and chief production officer, and established a stable display production base such as OLED by securing original technologies and leading production process innovation. The LG Chem stabilized various new businesses early as the head of its information and electronics business division.
