[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Naver's guaranteed arrival service, which had been provided free of charge since its launch at the end of last year, will be charged within this year.

According to Naver on the 30th, it has decided to charge the guaranteed arrival solution, which is currently being provided as a temporary free service, within the year, and is reviewing the specific timing and fees internally.

Naver is considering setting fees at a level that recovers the minimum cost necessary to provide stable technology for the increasing number of guaranteed arrival service users and to continuously upgrade services.

An official from Naver said, "We announced that the guaranteed arrival solution will be temporarily provided free of charge from the time of launch and will be converted to a fee in the future."
