[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] Lee Hyori has recently been chosen as a model for LG Electronics, becoming the face of the Dios dishwasher.
LG Electronics has released a full version advertisement featuring Lee Hyori for the Dios Object Collection dishwasher on its YouTube channel and other platforms.
Lee Hyori, who had never used a dishwasher before, was given a five-week trial period to experience the convenience firsthand, which was then incorporated into the advertisement.
An LG Electronics spokesperson stated, "The response has been enthusiastic since the teaser for the advertisement was released on the 1st. We plan to air related advertisements on terrestrial broadcasts soon."
This marks Lee Hyori's first time as a model for LG Electronics' home appliances. In the past, she gained recognition as the long-standing model for Samsung's mobile phone, Anycall, contributing to a 300% growth in product sales over four years.
