KAI completes high-speed delivery to Polish FA-50GF 12 in 15 months

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) announced on the 2nd that it has completed the delivery of 12 FA-50GFs to Poland 15 months after the export contract was signed.

"Since signing an export contract for FA-50 48 with Poland in September 2022, we have fulfilled the contract by delivering the first and second units to the local Minsk air base in Poland in July last year and delivering them to the Polish Air Force up to 12 units without any errors," KAI said.

Of the total 48 contracts, the remaining 36 will be developed in the form of FA-50PL with strengthened resistance equipment and armament to meet the needs of the Polish Air Force and will be delivered from 2025 to 2028.

It is attracting attention as a key model to replace Poland's flagship fighter MiG-29.
