[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Errors caused by card payment system failures at all McDonald's stores in Korea are being normalized.

According to the industry on the 3rd, some cards were temporarily unavailable at all McDonald's stores later in the day. McDonald's headquarters started to figure out the cause and sent an official letter to the card company in question to ask for cooperation.

McDonald's close communication with credit card companies has made it possible to use most of the cards except for two companies. McDonald's explains that the remaining two cards will also be normalized around 8 p.m. on the same day.

Regarding the error, McDonald's said it was a temporary error in the process of changing the payment system.
