Hahn & Company, a domestic private equity firm, is once again pursuing the sale of automotive fuel pump manufacturer Coavis.

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] According to sources in the investment banking (IB) industry on the 6th, Hahn & Company is working with PwC Samil as an advisory firm to find potential buyers for Coavis. The firm first invested in Coavis through its 1st blind fund in 2012. After a previous attempt to sell the company fell through, they are now making another attempt.


Founded in 1994, Coavis is an automotive parts company based in Sejong. Its primary business involves the production and sale of fuel pump modules for automobiles and pressure control valves for automatic transmissions. 

 

Coavis manufactures electric water pumps used in internal combustion engines, which are recognized globally for their advanced technology and production capabilities. Major customers include international automakers such as General Motors (GM), Volkswagen, and BMW.
