[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Digital Asset eXchange Alliance (DAXA) announced on the 4th that it will receive reports from unreported virtual asset operators in cooperation with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).

Subject to the report are domestic and foreign virtual asset operators who operate unreported operations for Koreans without reporting under Article 7 of the Special Financial Information Act.

△Information related to business operators △ Evidence of unreported business activities △ Reasons for suspecting unreported virtual asset operators can be reported by DAXA tip-off mail. For more information, please refer to the DAXA official website pop-up.

DAXA will conduct the first review based on the information received and then deliver the results to the FIU. If the FIU then replies to the DAXA with the results of its judgment on whether it is an unreported virtual asset operator, it will notify the operator of the results.

If the operator continues to engage in unreported business activities, the FIU plans to take necessary measures, including notification to the investigative agency.
