[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] HYBE Unveils ‘HYBE 2.0’ Strategy to Strengthen Global Leadership

HYBE has announced its new business strategy, ‘HYBE 2.0,’ designed to solidify its position as a leader in the global entertainment industry. The strategy focuses on three core areas:

Business Segmentation: HYBE will reorganize its previous focus on labels, solutions, and platforms into three main segments: Music, Platform, and Tech-based Future Growth. This restructuring aims to enhance long-term business competitiveness and has been in development since the latter half of last year.

Music: The strategy will prioritize improving content quality and fan experience while accelerating expansion into key markets including Korea, the U.S., Japan, and Latin America. The goal is to create synergies across these regions.

Platform: The Weverse platform will broaden its genre offerings and refine its service model in Japan and the U.S. to boost artist activities and provide fans with enriched experiences.

Tech-based Future Growth: This segment will focus on expanding its gaming business and advancing research and development (R&D) in future entertainment technologies.
