[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Naver Decides to Retire 162,408 Shares Worth 281.5 Billion Won.

Naver has resolved to retire 162,408 of its own shares, amounting to approximately 281.5 billion won, as announced by the board of directors on July 31. Based on the closing price of 173,300 won per share the day before the decision, the total value is about 281.45 billion won. The share buyback and retirement are scheduled to be completed by August 7.

Naver plans to reduce its shareholding percentage from 8% last year to below 5% by 2025 as part of its ongoing share retirement strategy.
